Mindy Atwood is the CEO and founder of Patches of Light©, a nonprofit organization for families of critically ill children, which assists with nonmedical items, including groceries, rent and parking money. She is the mother of four and grandmother of three. She has devoted her life to helping others, as well as working full-time to help her own family through the trials and tribulations.
Her favorite quote, "Dare to reach out your hand into the darkness, to pull another hand into the light," is the standard she chooses to live by each day of her life.
